ABOUT
Jason Arel-Klein is a photographer working and living in Atlanta, Georgia.
His lens-based art tackles issues related to identity, religion, and war. Jason’s composite work uses
abstract layering techniques to create bold, immersive images. His ongoing series, The Dialectics of
War and Peace, focuses on the conflict in Israel and Gaza from an American Jew’s perspective.
The series exemplifies his disenchantment with the idealized country the Jewish people call home.
Through photography, he internally processes the horrors of war, while hoping to discover some
catalyst for change. His work has been featured as part of group exhibitions in The Curated Fridge
and The Atlanta Photography Group.
